Korica je prva majstorska pekara u Zagrebu koja je već desetu godinu radi pravi kruh®. Za nas je pravi kruh nepokvaren aditivima i sastoji se samo od brašna, vode, kvasca soli … i vremena. Radimo pravi kruh® koristeći tradicionalne sastojke, metode i vještine – i ništa više.

Od prvog sourdough kruha u Zagrebu i prvog tradicionalnog baguetta preko originalnog croissanata s bademima, prvog cruffina, rolice s cimetom, prve babke, japanskog mliječnog kruha – posvećeni smo našim kupcima predstaviti prave, čiste i iskrene pekarske proizvode vrhunske kvalitete.

Vjerujemo da je vrijeme najvažniji sastojak svakog dobrog kruha. Naš kruh fermentira sporo – i do 48 sati – jer samo tako razvija puninu okusa, bolju probavljivost i onu prepoznatljivu teksturu. Bez žurbe, bez prečaca. Ručno zamiješan, prirodno dizan, pečen s idejom da vam svaka šnita donese više od okusa – da vas uspori, nahrani i podsjeti koliko dobro može biti ono jednostavno.

Lisnata i slatka peciva

Lisnata i slatka peciva iz naše radionice – inspirirana francuskom tradicijom viennoiserie – rade se ručno, s pravim maslacem i puno strpljenja.

Naš kroasan bio je prvi pravi, ručno rađeni kroasan u Zagrebu – slojevit, putrast, hrskav, baš kakav treba biti. A uz klasike poput babke, stalno tražimo nove načine da iznenadimo: poput našeg baklava čvora – lisnatog tijesta i medeno-orahaste sočnosti.

Sendviči i slana peciva

Naši sendviči i slana peciva osmišljeni su kao ozbiljna hrana u jednostavnom obliku – za doručak, pauzu ili lagani ručak koji ne pristaje na kompromise.

Baguette sa šunkom i maslacem, kao i onaj pršutom, topla focaccia s mozzarellom i prvi Croque Monsieur u Zagrebu – pravi francuski comfort food. Naši quichevi s fetom i rajčicom, porilukom i pancetom, jutarnja pita i strecci s rajčicama i grana padanom – jednostavan su, ukusan zalogaj za one koji vole nekomplicirano, ali dobro.

Sve radimo u našoj kuhinji, s istim pristupom kao i kruh: bez prečaca, s puno pažnje i vrhunskim sastojcima.

Slatki zalogaji

Naši slatki zalogaji inspirirani su klasicima koje pripremamo jednostavno, i točno onako kako treba – bez pretjeranih ukrasa, ali s puno okusa.

Predstavili smo prvi cruffin Zagrebu – spoj kroasana i muffina s punjenjem koje se mijenja prema sezoni i raspoloženju.

Naš je mramorni kruh poznat, nostalgičan i omiljen zbog svoje jednostavnosti i domaćeg štiha. Kolač od mrkve idealan je za one koji vole kad desert ima karakter, ali bez nametljivosti. Banana bread, kruh od limuna i maka, baileys kolač i drugi slatki zalogaji – ne pokušavaju biti više nego što jesu, ali zato jesu ono najbolje od sebe.

U svakoj šniti želimo pokazati da jednostavno ne znači dosadno – nego stvarno dobro.

I was only in Zagreb for a short time but made sure to visit this bakery twice – that’s how good it is! The staff are kind, speak English, and the pastries are absolutely amazing. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but they’re definitely worth it.

Since the place is usually quite busy, I’d recommend going in the morning if you want to avoid the crowd. I also appreciated that they offer free water for everyone.

And whatever you do, don’t miss the cinnamon bun!

Busy busy because the baked goods are great. I had the pistachio baklava čvor and the peach “Danish”. Very nice staff and good coffee. I also had the cheese, egg and ham pie but haven’t tasted it yet

Excellent cafe near the playground. Good coffee, excellent pastries (we did the pbj cruffin - fully filled! And the peach Danish.) Clean and with water on side.

See Zagreb

This location is smaller than the others but it has a great grab and go concept and a few comfortable seats to drink a quick coffee. Very sweet staff members during multiple visits.

Korica has good quality baked goods and pastries, I would recommend the Shokupan for a unique bread in Zagreb.

Little, unassuming place on the outside, but owww what a treat! Vanilla custard cruffin was excellent - simply try it out! On a good day, get sth to go, find a park/viewpoint,etc. to sit and enjoy, and dive in! ✌️

Definitely different than other places. A little more expensive, but unique and great food options. Have been here twice, and both was great. It was also open at 7AM, so that was another great thing.

Magz Bee

Great option for bread/pastry lovers. Sandwiches, quiches, croissants, donuts, cakes. Lovely babka and Croq Monsieur. Not sure about hanging out there, too many wackos with laptops around. Hipster-ish kinda.

Korica is a fantastic spot for breakfast in Zagreb! The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes that hit the spot. The pastries are especially worth mentioning—they’re flaky, flavorful, and pair perfectly with their coffee.

However, one small issue is that during the colder months, the cups tend to be cold, which causes the coffee to cool down quickly. It’s a minor inconvenience, but it would be great if they could address it. That said, the quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere more than make up for it. A solid 4 stars!

Nice little cafe that's relatively close to the old town, and has pretty reasonable prices. The place is small, so don't expect to spend too long here. The food was pretty good, coffee's are relatively small but well made!

I love to stop by for almond croissant. Very delicious when freshly made. Pastry tend to be dry here. Current service doesn’t enjoy tourists but there is a sign Tips very much appreciated. I find it funny! Cute interior. They have good coffee, and some additional cute products like jams.

It is one of the best bakeries in town, and it use to be one of my favourites, however i fell like the quality is dropping with the expansion to new locations, while the prices have grown substantially. Still their products are really good, even if its just plan bread or cronut desert it deserves the attention. I would avoid the croissants, not worth the bang for the buck. At this particular branch the staff is really great and pleasant.
